Short Bio

Dr. Scott McCrickard is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and a member of the Center for Human-Computer Interaction at Virginia Tech. His research interests are in knowledge capture and reuse for human-computer interaction, tools for interface designers, and user interfaces for mobile and handheld computers. He has consulted for numerous companies and government agencies over the last decade on interface building and interaction techniques. Most recently he is working with Meridium, Inc. on a National Science Foundation (NSF)-sponsored technology transfer initiative to develop agile usability tools and techniques to support Meridium’s transition into an agile software development organization.
