Short Bio

I’m a senior interaction & interface designer / business analyst for ThoughtWorks where I’ve been working in an Agile manner for the last 5 years. My particular interest is how Agile principles of software development apply to analysis and especially interaction & interface design. Much of my work has been in this area - trying to test just what ‘enough up-front design’ might mean. I’ve been fortunate enough to work and learn from a bunch of talented people in and outside of ThoughtWorks and to have been involved in both the Consultancy and Products work that ThoughtWorks does - for example I’m currently the UI guy on Mingle (TW’s new project / requirements management tool) as well as actively involved growing TW’s Manchester office in the UK>
