Short Bio

I managed a team of agile coaches in BT and presented at Agile2006 on BT’s experiences in that area. I now work within BT Design (BT’s process, product and systems development division) working with our Global services division on requirement refinement and delivery by BT Design while trying to introduce agile thinking to them. I started in the good dold days of 80 column punched cards before moving into systems programming on what i still think is one of the most underrated mainframe operating systems: VMECSS on ICL’s 2900 range. I then spent some considerable time out of computing, working variously as a project management consultant, regional manager and dogsbody in various parts of BT before being introduced to agile and brought back into the ICT space.
